Our story

A family taqueria bringing Veracruz recipes to Winnipeg

La Taqueria opened on Ness Avenue in the summer of 2021 and quickly became one of the most talked-about Mexican restaurants in Winnipeg. The food is made by Cristhel Pipper, who moved here from Córdoba, Veracruz in 2019, and Tourism Winnipeg has featured the shop as a standout authentic taco destination.
